Dating Violence
Dating violence is not only date rape. It is violence
which affects young people on all levels - physically, psychologically,
emotionally, and socially. It occurs in every high school regardless of
race, ethnicity, or social strata. As with abuse of women, abusive teen
dating relationships exhibit a pattern of repeated and increasingly
violent abuse.
Life Span's dating violence prevention programs in local schools
receive praise from both school administrators and teens themselves.
Life Span is also available to provide dating violence prevention
presentations at all types of organizations such as youth
organizations and schools.
