Life Span is an approved Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP) training site.

Life Span's Domestic Violence 40-Hour training is designed for anyone interested in the 40-hour Domestic Violence curriculum required by the Illinois Domestic Violence Act (IDVA), as well as individuals interested in becoming Life Span Crisis Hotline Volunteers. Life Span crisis line volunteers should be over the age of 18 and have a home or mobile phone. There is a fee for those who are interested in only the training and not in becoming a Life Span volunteer.

Life Span is a nonprofit agency that provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and their children. Our services include domestic violence counseling, legal representation, criminal court advocacy, immigration services, hospital advocacy, public education, and systemic policy work.
